1949 Dodge Woodies
A *PAIR* of Dodge B1D - 1 Ton Wooden School Busses - or Woodies.
These were built by Dodge in 1949. They started life as a 1-Ton truck but were then sent to a coach builder in NY to be converted into wooden school busses.
The busses have been deteriorating over the years and there’s not much of the coachwork left. That being said, everything that we have will be included. Even pictures of them when complete....
The frames appear to be solid, engines are complete, untouched as we found them, I do believe they are missing the fuel bowls off both of them. Dash is largely complete also with all original instruments and steering wheel. Seats are all included although they could certainly use some fresh upholstery. Both trucks have the spare tires included.
Only one of the trucks have a VIN plaque and neither of them have titles.
They will be sold on a bill of sale and it will be the responsibility of the purchaser to register them with their local DMV. -That being said, we will help as much as we can if needed.
This is a package deal; you need to take both of them! No exceptions. Shipping can be arranged. I highly recommend an enclosed trailer. -- these would be much more complete if we took our own advice when bringing them here.

Restoration Garage - Season 3
Eccentric entrepreneur David Grainger might like to fly planes, ride horses and race boats but his true love has led him to one career and there is nothing blue-collar about it. At The Guild of Automotive Restorers, David Grainger and his team save the world's rarest classic vehicles. From re-building a one-of-a-kind turn of the century French De Dion, to recreating the multi million dollar Bugatti Aerolithe or by getting the engine of a 1969 Plymouth GTX roaring back to life.
David's crew of automobile mavericks turn rust into gold and deal with all the dents along the way. However, it is not just about the cars. David scours the planet's most elite auctions with friend and investment partner Larry Burns. They often bring back four wheeled gems to fix-and-flip. Shop manager Thomas Douglas keeps the restoration garage machine running smoothly.
