RESTORATION GARAGE
9 SEASONS

Eccentric entrepreneur David Grainger might like to fly planes, ride horses and race boats but his true love has led him to one career and there is nothing blue-collar about it. At The Guild of Automotive Restorers, David Grainger and his team save the world's rarest classic vehicles. From re-building a one-of-a-kind turn of the century French De Dion, to recreating the multi million dollar Bugatti Aerolithe or by getting the engine of a 1969 Plymouth GTX roaring back to life.

David's crew of automobile mavericks turn rust into gold and deal with all the dents along the way. However, it is not just about the cars. David scours the planet's most elite auctions with friend and investment partner Larry Burns. They often bring back four wheeled gems to fix-and-flip.
ABOUT US
The Guild of Automotive Restorers, established by David Grainger and Janice Stone, has been in business for over thirty one years and in that time has become a world leader in the art of restoring and maintaining all classic, antique and exotic automobiles. It is also the home of the world broadcast television series Restoration Garage. After it's 9th season wrapped, The Guild has transitioned their platform for new video content and episodes to their YouTube channel "Guild's Garage" where they continue filming the day to day operations and the ongoing restoration projects.

"While we are immensely proud of our world-renowned creations like the Bugatti Aerolithe, which won International Historical Car of the Year in 2013 and Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Pinin Speciale which took a top award at Villa D’Este, Lake Como, Italy, we are equally proud of the work we do on a daily basis.

That work ranges in scope from simple tune-ups for cars venturing out after a winter’s storage to engine rebuilds and complete mechanical service. The Guild is located in the town of Innisfil, Ontario about an hour north of Toronto, and is open to the public. You can visit the showroom and browse the collection of Guild merchandise for sale and the display cases of memorabilia collected over the years. Visitors can peak into the shop window and see projects currently worked on by the Guild's amazingly talented staff. Of course, comprehensive ground-up restorations are our bread and butter and we have over two thousand projects under our belts. Among those two thousand plus vehicles, you find VW Bugs, Ferrari supercars, lots of American Muscle, and great thirties classics. There are examples of pretty much everything else built with wheels as well.

We also have a collection of automotive gift items, which include, Guild Swag, die-cast model cars, gas pumps, nostalgia, car related antiques souvenirs and many curiosities. Come in and find something for the car lover in your family or take a trip down memory lane."
